3 Sep 2016 — Div0 Crew Emil Tan shared insights on cybersecurity in the context of Total Defence to the Top 100 N.E.mation! 11 participating teams.
N.E.mation! is an annual inter-school digital animation competition organised by Nexus, for students from secondary schools, junior colleges and centralised institute to express their thoughts on Total Defence. The competition has been very well-received, reaching more than 15,000 students participants over the last decade since its inception in 2007. For N.E.mation! 11, students are asked to use their creativity to produce animation clips centred on the theme for Total Defence 17 which is “Together We Keep Singapore Strong”. Students are asked to research and submit story idea on what and how Singaporeans can do to keep Singapore peaceful and safe, and to reflect on how our greatest strength lies in the unity and resilience of our people.

Singapore has remained safe and peaceful over the past 51 years because of the efforts of all Singaporeans. This is Total Defence at work.
Total Defence remains relevant because the threats we face today – including terrorism, cyber attacks, pandemics – require all Singaporeans to step up and play their part.
There are many things Singaporeans can do to keep Singapore peaceful and safe. But our greatest strength lies in the unity and resilience of our people.
These strengths will see us through any challenges.
